ABOUT

I am a writer, curator and art historian specializing in Asian art. Currently, I work as a collection curator at the private art foundation 8smička in Humpolec. My articles, interviews and essays on art have appeared in various Czech magazines such as Art Antiques, Artalk, Elle Decoration, Era 21, Spatial Lasvit, Revolver Revue, Qartal, Živel. I am fluent in English, French, Chinese and Czech.


BIO

I studied Sinology and Art History in Prague. I received scholarship to study in China in 2011 at Beijing International Studies University and in 2013 at Hangzhou Art Academy. In 2016, I graduated from postgraduate program in Asian Art at School of Oriental and African Studies in London. Currently, I am a PhD candidate at my alma mater, the Academy of Arts Architecture and Design in Prague, with the research project focused on exhibiting East Asian art collections in permanent displays outside Asia in European museums. Since 2016 I have worked for the private art institution 8smicka in Humpolec.  I have been involved in the family business publishing house Meander, founded by my mother in 1997, renowned for its artistic children's books. Currently, I live in Prague with my husband, two sons and daughter.
